Another fun trip today with a killer crew @markverrastro his buddy @ryandoyle82 & the infamous @larrysfishingcharters who’s fishing with us on one of his rare days off lol. It took a little while for the fish to start chewing but once they turned on we got into some great top water feeds, putting the last of our vintage stash of @madd_mantis poppers to work!

Wow we had ourselves one of those days today that you daydream about but rarely comes together this perfectly. And we literally didn’t see one other boat the whole trip! We started out at the spot we left em on Sunday, had the life, but couldn’t get bit. so we ran a little deeper and ran into miles & miles of unforgettable Yellowfin & Bluefin feeds, almost all on poppers! My son even landed his 1st tuna 🤩🤩

We had ourselves a real sharknado for Dmitry & fam this morning. The ride out was a little sporty but the 39 ate it up. We couldn’t even get the spread in the water before getting tight on our 1st fish. Then it was all excitement- doubles & triples till we were down to trolling one rod lol. Troll, jig, pop, dead stick, it didn’t matter- you were on instantly. Unfortunately the sharks were the thickest I’ve ever seen this far north, almost every fish got eaten before we could get it to the boat, eventually it got too ridiculous to continue & we headed back early with sore arms.

We had Ed & the Polish bass crew on for a mixed bag trip this morning. Made a quick run to the tuna grounds & got our 2 fish bluefin limit in under an hour then hit the local reef for seabass & fluke. Great morning & back before lunch!

Awesome day as always with the homies from @smithstreetrodandgunclub today. We started with a real heartbreaker fighting an 80” class fish for 2.5 hours that inhaled a popper on a 14k reel. We had her to the boat but the reel broke at the end and we lost her 😬 The guys kept fishing hard and we managed to go 1/3 and come home with some fresh sashimi!

This morning we had Durum & friends back out with us for one of our last summer bass trips. Started the day out with a nice 40lber and then caught a bunch more slots and overs, including a nice fluke on a chunk! The afternoon unfortionately was a complete flop. The trip started out with a lost anchor then never came together. A few blues and short bass but not what we wanted, sorry Chris 🤷♂️

On this mornings trip with Gus & fam we caught another bass with a fresh shark bite taken out of her. Sucks how many sharks are around at least it's nice to see how fast these fish can heal and start eating again 🦾🦾 Fishing was steady until we lost the tide and headed in early because of the storm.
